Network Security Engineer - Senior / Intermediate

The role of Network Security Engineer is an Intermediate / Senior position within DTS Solution professional services team and involves the complete post-sales project lifecycle for network and security solution projects. Basic design, audit, implementation, deployment, integration and ability to review network and security solutions for our clients are just some of the responsibilities of this role. Expected professional experience is 5+ years.
Our clients range from Government, Enterprise, Telecom Service Providers, Oil and Gas sectors, and being part of DTS you will be driven to engage, interact, learn and collaborate whilst being trained on solutions as per DTS requirement.
Following capabilities but not limited to:
Role and Responsibilities
- Planning and design of solutions to meet business and project requirements
- Participate in design exercises where a new design is likely to impact directly or indirectly
- Independently work with customers to develop and understand requirements
- Confident to promote and lead presentation to customers
- Assist the customer’s Security Operations Centre teams to develop and maintain fault diagnosis procedures to support effective fault resolution
- Preparing HLD, LLD and migration documents related to project
- Able to perform compliance check IT environment and audit configuration of firewalls, router and switches
- Analyze and troubleshoot security technologies hardware and software platforms
- Will be required to work after standard business hours as needed
- Collaborate with team members in areas of expertise
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to the network and security devices
- Assist in the development of meaningful network metrics and performance base lines for customers
Qualifications
- Expertise on Cisco ASA and ForcePoint, WAF technology
- Good understanding and experience on IPSec, SSL VPN, Sandboxing, Forward and reverse proxy, NAT, syslog, DNS, NAC and cloud computing (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge on Data center Network topology and architecture, routing, switching, Routing protocols, MPLS, Load-balancer and SDN
- Language: Primary English and secondary Urdu/Hindi and Arabic (highly preferred)
Certifications
- Valid certification and hands-on experience on Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks solutions
